This Health & Safety information, along
with our Booking Conditions, outlines your agreement
with Just Holiday Villas 4 U. It applies to all
holiday arrangements you book with us.
We, along with our employees,
agents, and suppliers, will
exercise reasonable care and skill in providing your holiday
arrangements. However, it's your
responsibility to demonstrate any negligence on our part if you
wish to make a claim against us, as detailed in our
booking conditions.
Important Villa Information

Villa Safety Manual: Each villa has a
manual with safety information specific to that property.
Please review it upon arrival, especially if
you're traveling with children. Point out any areas
where extra caution is needed, like pools or
balconies. Our Villa Representative is available to
answer any questions.

Child-Friendly Villas: We strive to make
our villas as child-friendly as possible.
However, constant supervision is
necessary, particularly around pools.
Some villas are better suited for young children or those
with limited mobility, so please inquire before
booking. Our team is happy to answer all your
questions.

Your Responsibility: While we provide
guidance and ensure reasonable safety measures, the
ultimate responsibility for the care and safety of your group lies
with you. Report any accidents to your Villa
Representative immediately.

Villa Features and Safety:
- Terrace walls and roof terraces may have low
walls. Contact your Villa Representative if you have
concerns.
- Villas may have steps, slopes,
or steep staircases.
- Floors may be wet due to cleaning. Exercise
caution, especially with children and the
elderly.
- Gas installations are inspected, and carbon
monoxide detectors are fitted.
- Most villas have smoke detectors. In case of
a fire, evacuate everyone, call emergency
services, and inform your Villa
Representative.

Swimming Pools:
- Pool sizes are approximate.
- Pools are regularly maintained and cleaned.
- Ear infections can occur, especially in
children. Dry ears well after swimming.
- Report any pool concerns to your Villa Representative
immediately.
- Some pools have salt-water filtration instead of
chlorine.
- Ensure the villa's pool is suitable for your group's
needs.

Pool Safety Rules:
- No diving.
- No running around the pool.
- Don't swim beyond your abilities or if you can't see the
bottom.
- Supervise children and non-swimmers at all
times.
- Avoid swimming after drinking alcohol or
eating.

Pool Accidents and Closures: Report any
accidents to your Villa Representative. We'll address
any pool issues promptly. If the pool must be closed
for safety reasons, you'll be notified in
writing. We'll do our best to reopen it as soon as
possible.

Pool Heating:
- Pool heating is free in winter and optional in
summer, increasing the temperature by
3-5°C.
- Heating may not be effective in very cold
weather.
- Pool covers can help increase temperature but must be
used with caution.
- Heating is off from May to September.
- Heating automatically turns off if the temperature
exceeds 28°C.

Pool Safety Fences (Optional/Permanent):
- While we ensure proper installation, you're
responsible for ensuring the fence is suitable and safe during your
stay.
- Report any damage or concerns immediately.
- Pool fences are not a substitute for parental
supervision.

Infinity/Spill-Over Pools:
- These pools are safe but require extra caution with
children.
- Inquire at booking if you have concerns.

Pool Water and Color Effects:
- Chlorine can cause fabrics and hair to lighten or
discolor. This is normal.
- Rinse hair thoroughly after swimming.

Additional Safety Considerations
- Exercise caution with glass windows and
doors.
- Observe local beach safety precautions.
- Bring your own linen if you have allergies.
- Gas water heaters are inspected by qualified
engineers.
- Be aware of the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and
take precautions.
- Protect your eyes from the sun.
- Report any pre-existing medical conditions to your travel
insurance company.
- Take precautions to secure your villa and
belongings.
- Supervise children at all times.
- Observe local road safety regulations.
- Refer to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for travel
advice.
